Want to try before you buy? Why not hire our brand new T6 Conversion from AJC Campervan Hire Ltd?

Our T6 Campervan for Hire is finally completed and is fully loaded and ready to go!

Our campervan hire vehicle is a brand new camper conversion on a long wheel base (LWB) Volkswagen T6 Transporter. Because camping and campervans are our life, we know exactly what you need when out on the road. We’ve thought of everything so you don’t have to. From kettle and grill, to outdoor shower and full entertainment system – you’ll be amazed at how much we’ve fit in! All you need to remember to pack is your sleeping bags and food and you’re ready to go.

What’s included

  • A full tank of fuel (to get you there)
  • Heating system (so you’ll never be cold)
  • Air conditioning (so you’ll never be too hot)
  • Sat Nav (so you won’t get lost)
  • Bluetooth Stereo (so you can sing along to your adventure playlist)
  • Two burner hob and sink and grill (for when the BBQ won’t light)
  • Cutlery & crockery for four, sauce pans, frying pan and a kettle (all explorers need to eat)
  • Fridge (for keeping those beers cold)
  • Portable Loo (so you don’t have to leave the cosiness of the van in the middle of the night)
  • Television (for when the days are rainy)
  • Activity shower (great for hosing down after a muddy hike or bike ride)
  • USB charging points (for keeping you charged and connected when you’re out in the wilderness)
  • Mains hook-up cable and 240V Sockets (for those little luxuries when you’re on a campsite)
  • Single swivel seat (so everyone can sit down and relax after a hard day exploring)
  • Sleeping for four (two downstairs and two upstairs in the pop top roof)
  • Bike rack for four bikes (which can be used as a makeshift washing line)
  • Wind out awning to shelter from the sun (or rain)
  • Dustpan and brush, tea towels, washing up liquid (because it’s nice to be clean and tidy)

What to pack

  • Clothes
  • Toiletries
  • Food
  • Bedding (including fitted sheets – both beds are double size)
  • Kitchen roll/toilet roll
  • Bin bags
  • Pegs (just in case you need to dry any clothes)
  • Copy of your insurance documents
  • Driving license
  • Terms and conditions

Good to know

The campervan is a long wheel base, which means it’s slightly longer than a normal car, but it can be parked in normal car parking spaces. You do not need a special category on your driving license to drive our camper, but you must be over 25 years old with a clean driving license.

We’re sure you’ll agree, the camper comes well equipped. All it needs is your personal belongings, bedding and food and you are ready to go.

Please find a quote below for the same conversion as our Hire-demo van. Any items not required can be removed and the costs deducted.
I have done the costs below based on a panel van. Our demo van started life as a kombi van so there is a slight difference as the van comes with 2 front windows already fitted (so discount for this), but to fit the rear quarter windows with the correct tint we have to use genuine VW glass which is slightly more expensive than aftermarket glass. Since most of our customers use a panel van I have done the quote based on this.
    T6 LWB Conversion £7400
    Reimo roof £3950
    Colour code roof £360
Roof bed in upgrade black sparkle board £550
    RIB bed £1495.
Customer leather for RIB bed and 2 single front seats £1895
Pull out drawer under bed £175
    L shape kitchen £250
Overhead shelf with top and bottom LED lights £325
    Grill £300
    Sliding window upgrade x 2 @£130 each = £260
    2 x Rear quarter windows @ £230 each = £460
    Tailgate window £220
    5 x Curtains @£85 each £425
    Shower £215
Rear speakers in overhead box £195
    Stage 2 sound proof £645
    Extra leisure battery £250
    250w solar panel £895
    2 x stalk lights @£50 each = £100
    2 x tailgate led lights £55.90
Worktop led lights inc master switch £125
TV bracket and 12v outlet £100
2 x alpine TV aerial on windows £225
    3 x USB socket @ £50 each = £150
    1 x 240v socket £50
    Eberspächer Diesel heater £1195
    Passenger swivel £160
    Drivers swivel £240
    Kombi step and light £60
    Rear threshold cover £40
    Fiamma F45 in black £735
    2 x cargo nets @ £15 each = £30
    40mm H&R lowering springs £375
External upgrades which I have added.
    Genuine VW bike rack £550
Uprated gas struts for bike rack £120
    Front bumper splitter
    Side bars in black £255

I hope the above helps give you an idea of costs. We do go a little bit wild on the demo van as our average conversion costs around the £14k to £18k mark.

If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

      Hi Paul,

Thank you for your enquiry. We do not supply vehicles, But we can recommend David Airey at VW van centre Manchester. Costs varies on power output required, 102bhp, 150bhp, 204bhp and if you require manual or DSG gearbox.

Conversions costs would also depend on how many extras you require. I have included a link below to a example on my website which has the cost underneath. This cover most of the upgrades you mention apart from leather.

You are welcome to pop over for a visit and I can show you vans in progress in the workshop and our demo van ( if not on hire ), and would be able to give a exact quote for the conversion to your exact spec.
I hope to chat soon, Regards Andy.
